![]() Five years into so-called civil rule, Nigeria shows no sign of
real progress and Nigerian workers and the poor
masses are still deprived of basic democratic and workers' rights. Trade union activists, political activists,
human rights activists, students and journalists still face regular state and police repression when standing
up for their rights.
The Campaign for Democratic and Workers' Rights in Nigeria (CDWRN) is an international campaign which aims to help to promote and to strengthen the workers' movement in Nigeria by providing practical and financial solidarity. Nigeriasolidarity.org will report regularly on events in Nigeria and on the campaigns and activities undertaken by CDWRN in Nigeria as well as on solidarity campaigns internationally.
